Youth Programs

Black River Electric Cooperative sponsors local high school students each year for two educational experiences: the Washington Youth Tour and the Cooperative Youth Summit. The Washington Youth Tour is an all-expense paid, week-long trip to our nation’s capital for high school juniors where they get to opportunity to experience our government in action, see the history of our nation and learn more about electric cooperatives. The Cooperative Youth Summit is an exciting exploration of our state’s capital and its historic city for high school sophomores. Both programs offer opportunities to compete in contests and scholarship opportunities. Aspiring applicants can apply using this link.
